The 2nd Annual Cyber Research Conference Ireland is now open for submissions. This conference, chaired by Ruth Lennon and co-chaired by Séamus Dowling, will be held in ATU Letterkenny on Friday November 24th. The programme chair, Tammie Bolling, ATU Donegal, has announced the call for papers.
The conference stretches across a range of tracks and topics but importantly focuses on breaking research. I’m delighted that itag continue to sponsor the event which is an indication of the value obtained last year’s industry attendees.
Key to the success of last year’s event was the many opportunities for networking. Open discussion of ongoing work and potential for new collaborations is a significant outcome of this event. Collaboration between industry and academia provides the greatest value as it exposes future employees (students) to the ever changing world of cyber security.
The chairs, co-chair and diversity chair continue to work hard to include diversity in the the programme committee, keynotes and speakers. This is reliant on people submitting papers or accepting panel invitations but you can find the call for papers easily if you wish to submit one yourself.
I encourage you all to attend this event and find out all what we have to offer.
